Rum Runner
To really experience Guyana 12 ans in all its glory, drink it neat or over ice. However, if you want to turn it into a cocktail, bring on the fruit! Pour 50 ml of Guyana 12 ans over ice into a shaker, then add the fruit combinations of your choice (we like to go for a mix of 40 ml orange juice, 40 ml pineapple juice, a splash of crème de cassis and a dash of banana liqueur). Shake well and strain into a hurricane glass over fresh ice. Garnish with fresh fruit, and let the fruity, exotic flavours bring a smile to your face.

Flavour Intensity
Beaune, France
The West Indies has been producing sugarcane for hundreds of years. Made up of over 7,000 islands and territories stretching from the Florida peninsula of North America down to the northern coast of Venezuela, it is as beautiful as it is diverse. From active volcanoes to limestone islands to palm-fringed white beaches, each land is unique and different, imbued with its own distinct character and charm.
Sweet and spice, and all things nice
This expertly-balanced rum is blended from a series of spirits produced at the Diamond distillery in Guyana. Its mixture of sweet and spice perfectly encapsulates the character of its homeland, evoking the candy-painted houses and rich, lush nature of Guyana itself. The ageing process in Madeira casks adds a mellow maturity to Guyana 12 ans, lending it aromas and flavours reminiscent of a beautifully aged wine.
The taste of Madeira
After distillation in a column still and blending, the rum is transferred to ex-bourbon casks, where it ages for 10 years. The bourbon-infused wood adds rich vanilla and cedar notes to the rum as it matures. Afterwards, the rum is aged in Madeira casks for two years, adding the perfect finishing touch to the flavour composition. The gentle balance is complex and apparent, with extra style and smoothness.
