Bee’s Knees
A Bee’s Knees will bring out the luxurious sweetness of Reinaissance’s heather honey, while celebrating the zestiness of its brighter botanicals. Pour 60ml of Reinaissance gin, 22.5ml of fresh lemon juice, 10ml of honey, and 5ml of water, into a cocktail shaker. Stir this about quickly to make sure the honey blends well with its co-stars, and then hard-shake over ice for 10-12 seconds. Fine-strain your Bee’s Knees into a chilled cocktail glass for a fresh, bright and more-ish springtime sipper.

Cognac, France
Erika comes from Nouvelle-Aquitaine, on the west coast of France. This region is well-known for its beautiful landscapes and famous cities. The idea for Erika first came at a restaurant table in the city of Bordeaux, while the production of their spirits currently takes place in an ancient distillery in Cognac.
Foraging for Freshness
Elderflowers from the blossoming gardens of Dordogne are at the heart of Reinaissance’s recipe. The flowers are manually harvested, with their pollen staining the pickers’ hands bright yellow. After being rushed to the stills, distillation takes place on the same day, to allow the freshness of the elderflowers to shine through.
Nature’s Rebirth in a Bottle
Reinaissance - meaning, literally, ‘rebirth’ - is designed to give new life to the seasonal vibrance of Dordogne. It does this by transporting its eight botanicals from countryside-to-bottle in an elegant recipe led by fragrant elderflower, Erika heather honey, and other locally-sourced herbs and berries.
The Brains Behind It
Born on The Back of A Napkin
It all started at dinner in 2017. Childhood friends Paul, Vianney and Thibault were chatting about artisanal gins one evening as they drank a digestif together. Paul, a beekeeper, Vianney, a restaurateur, and Thibault, a mixologist bartender, were all pretty passionate about the subject, and within a few hours, had decided to bring all of their unique skills together to create their own. In 2018, they brought their vision to life and created their first spirit, Erika Dry Gin.
